The Network for Solidarity, Empowerment and Transformation for All (NewSETA) in partnership with the National Endowment for Democracy (NED, USA) shall organize a two-day workshop in Yaoundé targeting 40 journalists from 4 regions of Cameroon (North West, South West, Littoral and Centre), from October 29 to 30, 2020 on the theme “Media, Peace and Elections.”   This activity aims to explore and accentuate the role of a free press in shaping public opinion, in a climate of social crisis and electoral partisanship. If you are a journalist based in these regions and interested in taking part in this training, please apply before the 23 of October, 2020 for a chance to participate. This activity is fully funded and priority will be given to participants who have not attended our trainings before.

Le Réseau pour la Solidarité, l’Autonomisation et la Transformation pour Tous (NewSETA) en partenariat avec le National Endowment for Democracy (NED, USA) organise un atelier de deux jours à Yaoundé à l’intention de 40 journalistes de 4 régions du Cameroun (Nord-Ouest, Sud-Ouest, Littoral et Centre), du 29 au 30 octobre 2020 sur le thème “Médias, paix et élections”.   Cette activité vise à explorer et à accentuer le rôle d’une presse libre dans la formation de l’opinion publique, dans un climat de crise sociale et de partisannerie électorale. Si vous êtes un journaliste basé dans ces régions et que vous souhaitez participer à cette formation, veuillez vous inscrire avant le 23 octobre 2020 pour avoir une chance de participer. Cette activité est entièrement financée et la priorité sera donnée aux participants qui n’ont pas assisté à nos formations auparavant.
